Ariel Denise Wilson is a standout basketball player from Brandon, Mississippi, known for her dynamic scoring and leadership on the court. A 5’5” guard, she began her career at McLaurin High School, where she was a four-time MVP, earned All-District, All-Region, and All-State honors, and made history as the first Dandy Dozen selection in her school’s history.
Wilson went on to play at Belhaven University, where she averaged nearly 20 points per game and earned multiple accolades, including:
• SSAC Freshman of the Year
• SSAC Newcomer of the Year
• SSAC All-Freshman First Team
• 2× First Team All-SSAC
• 2× NAIA Third Team All-American
She later transferred to the University of West Alabama, where she continued her dominance on the court and was named Second Team All-Gulf South Conference (GSC). Her consistent performance and impact at both the NAIA and NCAA Division II levels solidified her as one of the most decorated guards to come out of Mississippi.
