Quatazia Johnson is a veteran guard with a competitive edge and a versatile game developed across four years of collegiate basketball at the JUCO, D3, and D2 levels. A native of Hyattsville, Maryland, she currently plays for Virginia Union University, a top-ranked HBCU Division II program, where she contributes as a poised floor leader and high-IQ defender.
Johnson began her college career at Prince George’s Community College, where she made an immediate impact, averaging over 10 points per game early in her freshman season and posting several double-digit scoring performances. She continued her growth at Howard Community College, adding depth to her all-around game with consistent rebounding, defensive stops, and key contributions in overtime wins.
At Penn State Wilkes-Barre, she started all 14 games, averaging 10.9 PPG, and solidified herself as a primary option and locker room leader. In her senior year at VUU, Johnson not only made her mark on the court but also helped make history as a member of the first-ever CIAA women’s flag football team, which finished the season #1 in the conference.
Known for her leadership, basketball IQ, and relentless work ethic, Johnson is a two-way player who thrives under pressure and brings energy to every possession.
