Mount Vernon, NY - The WABA announced Niki Avery, Mount Vernon Shamrocks Guard, the 2022 Player of the Year!  Niki led the Shamrocks to a 7-1 record and the Northeast Upper Region Championship in her 1st season with the team.

Nili, a 5'3 Guard has played overseas for the past 12 seasons, and her season in the Shamrocks was her 1st in the states.  Her leadership and scoring ability led her to season averages of:
