Greensbor, NC - The WABA Champions are the Atlanta Angels winning the 2022 WABA National Championship.  The Angels defeated the Mount Vernon Shamrocks in the championship game 96-78.  Chancie Dunn, Atlanta Angels won Finals MVP.

 

In the semi-finals, the Atlanta Amges defeated the DC Cyclones 75-69 to advance to the Finals.  The Mount Vernon Shamrocks defeated the Midwest Sound by a score of 90-71 to advance to the Finals.

The All Star Game was not only entertaining, but also competitive…check the tape lol. 

Team Invinceable defeated Team Unstoppable 75-71. 

 

Machayla Watson, Atlanta Angels won All Star Game MVP.

Jasalyn Denkins, Richmond Roadrunners won the 3pt Shootout

Saturday night, after the Championship Game, we celebrated together with a Banquet & Awards ceremony. 

Jazmyn McIntish, Atlanta Angels won Defensive Player of the Year

Danielle Harrison, West Michigan Elite Stars won the Sportsmanship of the Year

Shatrina Smalls, Greensboro Kaos won the WABA Community Assist Award

The Atlanta Angels won the Team of the Year Award & completed the Perfect Season

Niki Avery, Mount Vernon Shamrocks won the 2022 WABA Player of the Year
